Paint Ideas

Lately everyone is asking about my paint plans. I like the "stars and bars" paint schemes. If I had to choose today, I would do it a lot like the plane in Van's calendar, May 2004. This is Mike Kelly's RV-8, photo Bob Wahl. I like the way the colors swoop from the cowl back around the canopy skirt. I'm not sure I would do the nose art or the red on the leading edge of the wings and tail.
