AIRBORNE!!
N130WN flew for the first time today -- after 2,399 days, or 6.5 years, of construction.
I departed from 8A7 about 10 AM, did several laps nearby to make sure everything was alright, then went to EXX for a landing on their long, wide runway. I did a 3-point landing with no problems. Taxied back and took off to go back to 8A7. 0.8 hours total time. Ooohh boy does it feel good!
Many thanks to today's support crew: Wayne8A, Radomir, Wayne8, and of course Pam!!

Congrats Larry!
Larry- Great photos of the first flight- it is good to see another RV where it belongs. It was a pleasure working with you on the certification. When are you starting your next project?
Eric
Good going Larry!!
I didn't know you were that close to your first flight. Now you and Pam can fly into the Silver City "International" airport for a visit.
Congrats, Larry & Pam!!!
As Van's said, the day will finally arrive! Perseverance is what it takes. You look very professional in photos, nice plane too!!
