Baggage Door Spring

Someone was asking about gas springs for baggage doors recently on one of the lists. Here's my installation. It has a five pound extension force and about 8.25" extended length. I'm happy with how it turned out. Look for part number 9417K5 at McMaster-Carr.

Also, that's Koolmat on the firewall. It helps with the noise and the heat.
