Madison Fly-In

February 26, 2005 10:27 PM

February 26th was the second annual fly-in at Madison, KY, hosted by Dana Overall. Last year I rode with Len in his RV-8A. This year I'm finally flying, so I returned the favor by taking Radomir, who is still building his RV-7A. My first non-spouse passenger!

The fly-in is more than 200 NM away, and on the other side of the 6000' mountains. The longest trip so far for my RV. The plane, pilot and passenger all performed well. Many thanks to Dana for hosting the event and arranging the good weather!

The Ohio Valley RVators arrived in style.

Nice tail-winds at 7500' make for a short trip home.
