Polishing
A couple months ago I polished the fuselage from the tail feathers up to the rear seat area. I used a random orbital buffer, and the results were decent, but not spectacular. Since then, I purchased the cyclo buffer from PerfectPolish.com. The directions that came with the cyclo buffer are very specific, and following them really makes a difference. I started compounding with the drill and Nuvite grade C. This picture is after doing the left side of the fuselage.

By the time I got to the right side, I really had the compounding technique down. Here you can see the dramatic improvement on the side of the fuselage ahead of the wing versus behind it. You can also see some of the swirl marks left by the grade C Nuvite. This is exactly what you want to see. It indicates that you are using the right amount of polish and pressure.

Here is the right side after compounding.

Next, I did both sides of the fuselage with the grade S polish and the cyclo buffer. This removed the swirl marks left by the compounding and brought out the shine even more. There are some areas where the shine is a little uneven, and there are a coulpe 'beauty marks' that need to be worked out with 600 grit sandpaper, but all-in-all it looks really good. It even makes the previous polishing efforts on the back half of the plane look a little lame.
