Nifty's Departure
Sold. It's done. The RV-8 that we spent 6.5 years creating from a pile of
parts, and enjoyed for three years and 366 hours of adventure is moving
to a new home near Seattle, WA. So long, Nifty. You will be missed...
Video of the ferry pilot's departure from Twin Lakes (8A7) is below. This is the first time anyone other than myself has been at the controls of the plane while it's running, not to mention flying. Emotionally and psychologically, it was a very weird thing to watch.
